Come to the mountains! St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, Dahlonega, Georgia, is interviewing for a Director of Sacred Music/Organist. Position available after August 6. Requirements: excellence in organ skills (new 3 manual Allen Organ); knowledge of Catholic Liturgy, hymnody, psalmody, and proper anthem choices for liturgies; rehearse and direct two choirs: the Choir of St. Luke and the Renaissance Men’s Schola; work with children as needed for VBS and Christmas pageant; ability to recruit singers for both choirs; ability to teach and direct Gregorian Chant; provide concerts during Advent and post-Easter to outreach the parish and community.
