How can we repay the Lord for all His blessings?
The Eucharist – Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is truly present in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. On Holy Thursday, Jesus gave us His Body and His Blood with the apostles (the first bishops). The Eucharist is the Source and Summit of our faith. Everything that we do at St. Luke’s stems from graces poured forth from
Our Lord.
Whether we are being a Eucharistic guardian in our adoration chapel or meeting with the needy as a volunteer with our St. Vincent de Paul ministry or baking cookies for our Women’s Guild Cookie Walk or serving during our Men of St. Luke’s Fish Frys, we do ALL these tasks because the Lord allows it. He allows us to be His hands and feet in our local community of Dahlonega and Lumpkin County.
How to donate for a new monstrance?
Go to Online Giving on our St. Luke’s website www.stlukercc.org/giving
Select the Online Giving link, then the Donation: New Monstrance fund.
If paying by cash or check, please put money in an envelope and place it in the collection basket.
If writing a check, earmark new monstrance on the Memo line. You must write New Monstrance on the outside of the envelope so the donation can be applied to the proper fund.
We will only be collecting for the month of October 2024.
